Camp Kistler- Dedicated
Camp Kistler was dedicated on December 17, 1967 in honor of Sgt James L. Kistler.
In Memory of Our Fallen Brothers
Remembering the Marines and Sailors of the 1st Amphibian Tractor Battalion who gave their lives in Vietnam.

This Stained Glass Window is one of 13 beautiful stained glass windows in the Recruit Chapel at Parris Island. It Honors the Marines of the 1st AmTrac Battalion who died on 20 January 1968.


This window was presented to the Chapel by Major Robert B. Throm. 1st AmTrac Battalion XO and later CO "A" Company, 1st AmTrac Battalion.
